Reflexology is an ancient natural therapy
However, due to the last 2 years and the pandemic I studied Mindful Reflexology. It is so incredibly calming. You can’t reinvent the wheel but you can add to its strength. I believe this is the best discipline I’ve ever learnt.
If you have been recently injured, ill or had a stressful episode in your life your body may well be out of balance. Vital energy pathways could be blocked which prevents an efficient return to health. https://www.aor.org.uk/healthcare-professionals/
Did you know that we have 9 different body systems ‘talking’ to each other to try and keep us balanced? When they are in tune the body runs like clockwork. We all have faulty clockwork that needs balancing.
Reflexology is also for your hands and face too
Are you ready to just stop, relax and recharge?
Reflexology is a wonderful complementary therapy that uses pressure techniques to stimulate points on the feet or hands to enable the body to heal itself. Imbalances in the tissues, organs and systems of the body may be both detected and effectively treated to restore balance and well-being. How great is that?
It worked really well for me when I had a particularly low time in my life, which is why I now provide it as a service to you.
How Reflexology may help you
Reflexology is an ancient natural therapy and dates back to 2330BC. It worked then and still works today. It’s been tried and tested many times and has been proven to be a fantastic way to relax, de-stress yet energise the body. It is a wonderful treatment to have and does not tickle.
Pre and post natal reflexology
I also offer pre and post natal reflexology and had the privilege to train with Gill Thompson and Suzanne Enzer – Sole to Sole Maternity Reflexology in 2013.
What will the treatment be like?
I work with all kinds of feet, some clean and perfectly manicured and some full of hard skin (which I can remove), corns, calluses or sweaty feet. It doesn’t matter what yours look like, I’ll work with them!
To get the best relaxation and enjoy this calm, healing time to yourself, you can simply close your eyes and drift during the treatment.
Typically imbalances are felt by me as crystals, tightness in the foot structure or the feet and you might feel these areas to be tender. It is not tickly. The pressure is firm. People who ‘hate’ their feet can have treatment with socks on or off. What is great about this technique is that some of my clients have actually started to ‘like’ their feet!
After a reflexology session both you and your feet should feel extremely relaxed.
