Ongoing Maintenance

My wife and I have been clients of Mel for about ten years and both receive monthly massages. Mel is very easy to work with. I am not someone who is used to this sort of treatment but Mel is very friendly and made me feel very relaxed. I found that the treatment was tailored for me. I had some very tender sore spots.

After my reflexology treatment Mel asked how I felt 0-10 scale. I0 being painful and 10 being ok. She said I felt a 9. After a couple of days I could really feel a difference.

She asked me if I knew that having regular sessions would be most beneficial for me. I said I did.

Lastly – would I recommend Mel? I said 100% yes. Mel is great at her treatments and has a very relaxed approach and the treatments make a real difference.

Hypnotherapy was wonderful and straightforward

I saw Melanie for hypnotherapy due to anxiety.  I was so anxious that I worried over the smallest thing and struggled to leave the house.  Melanie was friendly and put me at ease immediately – a must for those who are anxious. I had 8 weekly sessions and now have the confidence to dismiss irrational fears as pointless worries and am starting to rebuild my life.

* I now have a young adult who can see and feel ‘self worth’.  This was always a huge problem before seeing Mel.
* My young adult never felt he could achieve or be good enough – would be stoic to the detriment of self well being.
* I now have a young adult who tells me the ups and downs of the day or week and will actually laugh and joke.
* This person is no longer focusing on the negative thoughts and is taking in the bigger picture.

Reflexology

I have just had a wonderful Mindful Reflexology session with Mel Harris. This is not the first time as I have been Mel’s practice model for her exam.  Mel is passionate about everything she does and only wants the best for her clients whilst they are in her care. I love this Mindful Reflexology as it’s gentle and calming, to the extent that  I nearly dozed off.  Afterwards it was like all the heaviness of daily life had disappeared when it was time to leave. I will be returning for more sessions with the lovely Mel very soon. I highly recommend you book a session with here asap.

I was in a lot of pain in my shoulder – on 0-10 it was up around 8. The joints have been an ongoing problem. I found Mel very easy and comfortable from the getgo, very empathetic. My treatments were tailored to specific needs I had. We were working together twice a month and post shoulder treatment it was much improved and the pain had eased somewhat. Sleeping in the house on my own

I have had hypnotherapy with Mel. I actually can’t believe it worked. I’m the biggest ‘rebel’ to meditation; my brain can’t switch off, yet Mel soon proved me wrong. I have had a phobia of being in the house on my own/the dark ever since I was a child as well as extreme anxiety. Two sessions with Mel and I was able to spend a week solo and genuinely enjoy it. I managed to sleep and my anxiety levels dropped. I can’t thank her enough, and will continue to harp on to anyone who will listen how incredible every aspect of her therapy is.

What my wellbeing walks mean to me:

I can reset, unplug from screens, phones and general demands of life. I put my boots on and meet up with Mel.

We have no agenda, as we walk along footpaths, bridleways and fields. Its a gentle pace to unwind. No fitness levels required!

Conversations unfold naturally and easily. We laugh a lot too. I am always surprised how my mind clears when we talk. Mel does ask questions if I have a bit of a low time. Her training as a talk therapist really shows. It really helps me.

Mt last walk was in the bright sun. We stopped for a warm drink and I really heard the skylarks, the gentle hum of traffic in the distance. The Malvern Hills looked amazing. The spring breezes freshen me up. Seriously, you cant beat that feeling.

I always leave Mels walk and talk sessions feeling calmer, more contented. I can focus on whats important rather than get caught up in the miele . Its such an achievement for me.

Walking with Mel has really helped me assess my work/life balance, explore potential life choices and helped lose of a few extra Covid kilos! Thank you Mel.
